Introduction to the Last Exhibition Hall

On February 23, 1998, Jiang Zemin summarized Zhou Enlai's spirit into three combinations at the conference of commemorating Zhou's one 100th birthday. On February 29, 2008, Hu Jintao, then secretary of the central committee of the CPC, president of China and chairman of the central military commission, made an important speech to speak highly of Zhou Enlai and highly summarize Zhou Enlai's spirit from six aspects. When inspecting Zhou Enlai Museum in April 2009, General Secretary Xi Jinping said:"as a model of a generation, Zhou Enlai is a good example for all of us, especially for the Party and government cadres. We should especially learn how to behave from him. Firstly, we should learn how to behave, then, how to be a model Party member, and finally, how to be a revolutionary. The function of the educational base is very important and the work of the museum is of great significance." As Premier Zhou Enlai's 117th birthday is coming, General Secretary Xi Jinping has given an instruction: we should still take Zhou Enlai as a model in terms of his good work style and virtue.
