The Arashiyama Poem Tablet in Zhou Enlai Museum was built by Japanese friends after the Arashiyama Poem Tablet in Japan. It consists of two parts a base and a body. Its body is a piece of un-hewn chocolate Kurama stone bearing the poem Arashiyama in the Rain. Zhou Enlai wrote the poem when he studied in Japan (from September 1917 to April 1919). In the poem, he was aroused by the scenery and expressed his great ambition of revitalizing China.
