Ancient Stage. Huai'an is the birthplace of Huai Opera. In old society, wealthy and influential families used to engage Huai Opera troupes to perform in their homes while holding weddings and funerals. With its beautiful music for voices and touching stories, Huai Opera impressed Zhou Enlai in his childhood. Amateurs perform Huai Opera on the stage when the weather is good.
